Schedule and Promote Your Training Classes

First, if you have classes currently listed on jellis.com that have been postponed, update those listings right away! *see note in Pectora from Joe

Next, plan for future offerings and create your new class(es) in Pectora. Be prepared with course descriptions (including who is eligible to sign up), registration deadlines (if any), prerequisites (if any), and course fees (if any), as well as your cancellation policy.  Remember to select the “Feature on Ellis & Associates, Inc. website” option when creating your class(es), so they are available using the E&A Class Search Tool.

Think of the E&A Class Search tool as a built-in way to reach potential lifeguards, promote your training business or aquatic facility recruitment effort, prepare for the coming season, and generate revenue just as soon as social distancing restrictions are lifted.

Once you are cleared to train, your courses can be live on the jellis.com website within an hour of publishing them - meaning your courses show up on the website faster than ever.

A new “Online Registration” feature has been added to the class creation process allowing students to register and pay online (if you are accepting online payment be sure to also select the “Require Payment” option when creating the class).

Check Credentials Worldwide

With E&A’s exclusive credential management system, operators can find, renew and check any credential that is active and transferrable in the E&A system. This allows you to renew a lifeguard that did not originally train with you, check CEUs and begin your lifeguard training virtually by using video interviews for screening and going online to check the candidates’ credentials from anywhere in the world.

This can also be effectively used to screen for first aid and other credentials required for employment. Get a head start on interviews and paperwork before returning to the office.

E&A Stripe Collection System

Fee collection through Pectora now allows operators and trainers to accept credit and debit card payment allowing for advance registration and payment, removing social distancing barriers and speeding day-of / on-site registration. Adjust fees to cover facility rental, training expenses and trainer wages. Course credential fees can also be deducted through the Stripe Collection System meaning no invoices for training!

As always, please reach out to E&A with any questions. We are operators just like you. We get you. We are here for you. Just ask.
