In the month of May many aquatic facilities are preparing to begin their peak season. Tens of thousands of lifeguards, both new and seasoned, are participating in classroom, online, in-person and in-water training. Instructors are delivering rigorous curriculum teaching lifeguards not only how to guard the water, but how to be leaders, remain vigilant, administer life-saving first aid and even fit life jackets.
